Just a quick note thanking you and your team for making Mom’s 100th birthday so very nice. The party was special and the articles highlighting her birthday and her life were great. Family members are enjoying them. Thanks for everything you do for mom.

Dear Kenny, My mother and I would like to thank you so very much for everything you’ve done for us, working so hard to get our J.H. long term care insurance started. It’s been an ordeal, and we really appreciate all the effort you put into the process. I couldn’t have done anything without all the terrific help you gave me. We had an excellent experience at the Normandy Care Center. We were an involved family and all staff were responsive to us. The staff seemed happy working there and got to know our dad as a person. It is hard to have a loved one in a SNF, but dad’s stay went well. Also, all of our concerns were addressed in a timely manner.

The entire Baker Family want to thank you for all the loving, compassionate, tender care that you gave Dave in the course of his long stay with you. I was an observer on almost a daily basis and I never once saw anyone get angry or upset with any of the patients. You were truly tested minute by minute each and every day. You were my ‘other world’ for over two 2 years and I never felt anything but kindness for me as well as for Dave. You are very special people, doing a very special kind of care!

My sister has dementia. She is well taken care of at the Normandy. I would definitely recommend the Normandy to other people. She seems perfectly happy in her environment and I feel she is safe.

I have been here five months now. An old friend came to see my apartment. I want her to move here. I shared all the advantages, lots of activities, trips (have been to the Cleveland Orchestra twice), transportation, caring staff, new friends. She asked if I have any “buyer’s remorse,” having sold my house and left my neighbors. I told her no, no, and no! As I tell all who ask, I’m “living large” at the Normandy.

Everyone here on staff at the Normandy has made a home for our family. We have always felt welcome here, and safe. When we walk in the door, pass someone in the hall or attend any event, everyone extends greetings and asks if we need anything to make ourselves more comfortable. There is never an unkind word, any criticism, any implication that we are intruding or unwanted. We feel that we belong here.

The food here has been awesome. It’s all the right serving size for me. Good thing it’s not more, because I’d probably stuff myself just to not let anything go to waste. My compliments to all the cooks!

My mother, Mary was blessed to celebrate her 100th birthday. I write to commend the Normandy Care Center personnel, and in particular, Terry and Kim from the Activities Office. Thanks to the great organized effort and affordable responses from Terry and Kim, we had a party that far exceeded our fondest expectations. There was not one hitch to the whole affair. Mother had a great time and all who attended spoke highly of the staff and the physical condition of the surroundings. Recently, I filled out a questionnaire from the State of Ohio in regards to nursing homes. In all categories I marked your facility excellent. We thank you all for the care and recognition given to Mary.

It is hard to say what I enjoy the most of living at the Normandy. Interesting residents, exercise opportunities, and my very comfortable apartment, top the list. And the parties and trips – my very expanded social life adds a lot. It has been a happy two years. I look forward to the future.
